Cricket 07

Cricket 07 is a browser port of EA Sports Cricket 07, the 2006 Windows cricket game, made by Dhaiwat. The game's x86 code is statically recompiled to C and then WebAssembly, with Direct3D 8 rebuilt on WebGPU. You can play offline against the computer or with controllers on one device, or online 1v1 with a friend.

How to play

1. On the first visit, choose Regular (the whole game, commentary and full soundtrack) or Lite (no commentary, one song; the full version can be added later).
2. Pick Play Solo or Play Multiplayer. For multiplayer, one player creates a room, picks a server region and shares the room code or invite link; the other enters the code.
3. Keyboard: arrow keys move and aim, S selects and plays a normal shot, hold Shift for a lofted shot, D plays an advanced shot or takes a run, A cancels a run, Esc pauses and Alt+Enter toggles fullscreen.

What you need

• A desktop browser with WebGPU. The page asks for a current Chrome, Edge or Safari; Firefox works only with some GPUs and drivers.
• Free storage for the game data: about 1.2 GB for the full version and 0.5 GB for Lite.
• A keyboard or controller for each player. Phones and tablets get on-screen controls and play in landscape.

Good to know

• The game data downloads into your browser's storage on the first visit, and saves stay there too, so clearing site data deletes them.
• Online play needs the complete game files on both sides.
• The MIT-licensed source is on GitHub. It contains no game files; building your own copy needs files from your own copy of the game.
