This is an independent browser recreation of Sid Meier's Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition, made by wan0net with vanilla JavaScript and Canvas 2D. The project says it keeps the original interface, rules, proportions, music and movies. The original Civilization II was made by MicroProse and released for Windows in 1996 as a turn-based strategy game. The Multiplayer Gold Edition followed on December 9, 1998.
