PrinceJS is a reimplementation of the MS-DOS version of Prince of Persia, written in HTML5 and JavaScript. The original Prince of Persia is a 1989 cinematic platform game designed and implemented by Jordan Mechner and published by Broderbund. You cross dungeons to defeat the Grand Vizier Jaffar and save a princess.
How to play
Keyboard:

- Down: crouch, crawl, climb down, sheathe the sword
- Shift: drink a potion, grab an edge, strike with the sword
- Space: show the remaining time
- Enter: continue the game
Controller: stick or D-pad to move, A to jump, B to drink or strike, X to show the time (twice to restart the level), and Minus and Plus for the previous and next level.

Good to know
- Game state is saved automatically in the page's URL parameters.
- URL options set the level (1 to 14), maximum health (3 to 10), minutes left (1 to 60) and guard strength (0 to 100 percent). For example,
?strength=50halves guard strength.
