Road Rash is Electronic Arts' motorcycle racing game with fist fights at full speed. This fan-made adaptation by olucurious (kayode.me) runs it in the browser on Three.js, based on the PC release, which the in-game credits describe as developed with Papyrus Design Group from the 3DO game. It offers quick races, a career, online rooms and a leaderboard.
How to play
- Pick Race Now for a quick race, or Career to work through five tracks (The City, Sierra Nevada, The Peninsula, Napa Valley and Pacific Highway) and buy bikes in the Garage.
- Keyboard: arrow keys drive, Space or Z punches, K or C kicks, N fires nitro on Super bikes and Escape pauses.
- On a phone or tablet, hold the left pad to drive and slide your thumb to steer; the right-hand buttons fight and brake. Tilt steering is in the pause menu.
- Play with Friends races other people online or in a private room shared by code or invite link, with no account needed.
What you need
- Just a browser and a keyboard or touch screen. No game files are needed, and Career progress saves in the browser.
Good to know
- The racing and fighting code is new JavaScript on Three.js, not an emulator; the graphics, music and video come from the original PC release.
- The Credits screen reproduces the original game's credits.
- No gamepad support is documented.
