DiabloWeb is a browser version of Diablo made by d07RiV. It is based on Devilution, a project that reconstructs the Diablo source code, and compiled to WebAssembly. The original Diablo is an action role-playing game developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment for Windows in 1997.
How to play
- Open the page and choose Play Shareware, a 50 MB download.
- To play the full game, choose your own
DIABDAT.MPQfrom a copy you own.
The game can be played with the mouse alone: left-click where you want to go, and on what you want to attack or pick up. Keyboard shortcuts from the game's help screen:
- F1: help
- I: inventory
- C: character screen
- S: speedbook
- B: spellbook
- Q: quest log (not in the shareware version)
- Tab: map
- 1 to 8: use an item from your belt
- Shift + left click: use your weapon without moving
What you need
Nothing for the shareware version. The full game needs your own DIABDAT.MPQ.
Good to know
The project says the shareware version can be played on phones.
