Survivor is a playable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript remake of the classic space-based arcade shooter originally released for the Atari 2600 in 1982 and ported to the Commodore 64 in 1983. This web version serves as a prototype demonstrating browser capabilities while faithfully recreating the retro shooter gameplay.
How to play
- At the READY prompt, press a key or click to start.
- Use the Arrow keys to drive the ship.
- Hold SHIFT or CTRL to fire continuously.
- Press the SPACE BAR to deploy smartbombs and destroy pursuing enemies.
- Destroy base turrets to clear the level while avoiding spaceballs and bad guys.

Nothing to install or upload.
Good to know
Created by Schillmania in 2012 as a tribute to retro hardware, the remake also includes a level editor and design tool.
