This is a browser build of Wolf4SDL by midzer, made with Emscripten. Wolf4SDL is an open source port of id Software's Wolfenstein 3D to SDL that aims to keep the original feel. The original is a first-person shooter for MS-DOS, released on May 5, 1992, with the first episode free as shareware.
How to play
Open the page and choose Click here to load. The download is about 2 MB. Default keys:
- Arrow keys: move and turn
- Ctrl: fire
- Space: open doors
- Shift: run
- Alt: strafe
- 1 to 4: change weapon
- Tab: show the status bar in the full-screen view
What you need
Nothing to install or upload. Only the shareware .wl1 files are bundled, so you get the shareware episode, not the full game.
Good to know
Wolf4SDL plays AdLib sound and music through a built-in emulator, and it does not blur the pixel graphics.
